RESUME

Diane earned a B.A.E. degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She earned a Master of Health Professions Education degree from the University of Illinois and completed graduate courses in Interactive Multimedia and Museum Exhibit Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Diane was a successful self-employed free-lance Medical Illustrator and Art Director from 1975 to 1985, illustrating medical textbooks, anatomical charts, and courtroom exhibits, and creating original three-dimensional models.

From 1985 until 1998, Diane was President and Creative director of BIOMEDIA Corporation, a medical graphics company she founded.

Diane has been painting since 2000 and has attended advanced painting classes at The Art Center, Highland Park, IL. She is a member of Chicago Woman's Caucus for Art and Chicago Artists Coalition. Diane's work has won many awards for creative excellence including Awards of Excellence from the Annual Rx Club Show, N.Y., a Certificate of Excellence from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and a Best of Show Award in Illustration at the Biocommunication Chicago Forum.
